Man, I'm way out of practice. Tons of unintended oppo in the V8 Atom.

They have changed/improved? the tire physics even further.

For the most part I like the new models. However, drifting has become much harder.

I'd say the physics felt better but I just couldn't get that Atom to keep the power down and I wasn't trying to be heavy handed with the throttle and steering inputs.

To be fair, I'd venture the Atom is a handful on its own.

Throwing a tiny V8 only made it worse. [evil grin]

I later tried out the F12 Berlinetta and thes ame thing kept happening, just not quite as drastically.

In retrospect, I should have taken the Fiesta ST for a spin.

Yeah. Probably would have been a little easier to drive.

Though my 60's Mini with 250-ish HP is also a handful. When you hit the gas, it only goes where the wheels are pointed. Better hope you're going the right way on the track...

Also, it's hilariously fun.
